MEN’S BIBLE STUDY, “ACT LIKE MEN” –  5 week study (happening every second week) will start on Tuesday, September 11  .Each event will last from 1-1.5hours.  Sign up in foyer.

LADIES’ BOOK CLUB – Sit among friends, be blessed, make one Monday evening a month your time away with a good book! Monday Sept. 17 @7pmis the first meeting: a movie night / books are distributed.

MATTRESS PROJECT IN NICARAGUA –Please help by saving your outer milk plastic bags and placing them in the box in the foyer by the coat rack. WCC has now collected 719 milk bags from Jan. 1 to May 31!

kids venture children’s ministry

CHILDREN are special here at Wesley Community.  We do have a “Plan to Protect”in place to protect our children & volunteers. Don’t forget to sign your children in and out!

NURSERY NEWSNursery is downstairs!  A reminder for our nursery workers…please be in the nursery about 10:20am! There is now a crib, change table and rocking chairs in the room adjacent to the toddler nursery for our littlest members of the congregation and their moms. Signs are posted.

NOTE:  Right through until September 2, there will be KIdsVenture every second Sunday.  Nursery will continue weekly.

CONGRATUALTIONS TO JONATHON & STEPHANIE!   Jasmine (means “Gift from God’) Sylvia Joan Loback,  Born at 12:23pm, August 7th, Weighing 6lbs 6oz and 19 & 1/4 inches. Family is praising God that everything went well.

100th anniversary celebration …

ANNIVERSARY WEEKEND CELEBRATION– September 14, 15, 16…  See posters! Tickets for the Friday night banquet are available now!  (limited number available).  $10/adult;  $25/family (children under 16)  Don’t wait until the last minute to get your tickets!  Avoid disappointment.  There are plans for a Baptismal Servicein the am service as well.  If you are interested in baptism, see Pastor Kevin.
