Kevin Wilson
Lead PastorKevin came to Wesley Community in July of 2017. Kevin brings over 25 years of pastoral experience serving churches both in Canada and the United States. He is a people person who desires to see people become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.
Kevin is married to Bev and they have a daughter, Emma. Kevin also has 3 children from a previous marriage, Josh, Ellyn and Jake who live in Corning, New York.
Kertina Tomczyk
Office AdministratorKertina Tomczyk is the spouse of Nathaniel Tomczyk. Together they have a blended family that includes seven children. Kertina was born in Pembroke and graduated from Algonquin College - Pembroke Campus for Registered Early Childhood Education. She worked within daycare and school settings in Renfrew County before taking some time off from work for the birth of her youngest two children.
After attending Wesley Community Church for 5 years with her family, Kertina felt a calling to apply for the office administrator position. She is excited to take on a more active role within the church community, and work in an environment that strengthens her relationship with God.
Bev Wilson
Co-Director of KidsVenture MinistryBev Wilson is the wife of Pastor Kevin Wilson and mother to Emma. Bev graduated from Kingswood University with a Bachelor of Science in Christian Education and has thirty plus years of experience working with children. She has had the privilege of teaching in Christian schools in both Canada and the United States. Before moving to Pembroke, she was the Children’s Director at Metro Wesleyan Church for ten years.
Bev is thrilled to be part of the KidsVenture team at Wesley Community, along with Kristin Plumley. Bev believes that KidsVenture, Sunday School, needs to be a fun, interactive time of growing closer to God, a time that children look forward to each week.
Kristin Plumley
Co-Director of KidsVenture MinistryKristin, along with her husband Eric, were both born and raised in Pembroke. They have two beautiful young girls Peyton and Thea. Wesley Community has been their church home for over 10 years now.
After having children and seeing the joy that is kids ministry, Kristin felt God's calling to do more. "I love teaching kids, my girls are young and just starting to learn so to have this opportunity to teach others in a fun way and watch my girls learn is a great feeling."
"Bev and I have so much fun working together, we really feed off one another while planning. This new chapter is just the beginning and we are so excited to see those little faces watch it unfold."
